NARS Foundation is pleased to present Gateway (repaved), a solo exhibition by NARS alum Jennifer Chia-Ling Ho.
Gateway (repaved) is a site-specific installation inspired by Jennifer Chia-Ling Ho's immigration from Taiwan to the U.S., exploring themes of adaptation and resilience. Transforming the gallery space into a climbing wall with ropes made from English vocabulary flashcards and jade-like rock holds, the work uses the act of climbing as a metaphor for navigating a new environment while staying connected to one’s roots.
