
Yun Jung Rhee is a New Jersey–based curator, director,artist and arts educator whose practice bridges contemporary art, community engagement, and international cultural exchange. She is the Director of Gallery Marie and serves as Exhibition Curator for the Jersey City Poetry Festival. Rhee is also the Founder and Director of Creativemind Art at the Museum of International Art, where she has developed exhibitions and educational initiatives since 2009.
Rhee holds a BFA in Sculpture from Seoul National University and an MFA in Sculpture from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. She was awarded a full scholarship to UCLA’s MFA program and received a Graduate School Scholarship from Otis College of Art and Design.
Her curatorial projects include Richard Masters’ HUMANSCAPE at NARS Foundation (2026), the National Hotel Exhibition in Miami (2026), and multiple exhibitions at Gallery Marie, including Winter Radiance and Dance With Me. Her curatorial vision emphasizes cross-cultural dialogue, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the integration of visual art with poetry and performance.
Through her leadership roles across galleries and museums, Rhee continues to cultivate platforms that support emerging and established artists while strengthening connections between local communities and global contemporary art practices.
