Ping Wang (X) is an interdisciplinary artist working across ceramics, sculpture, painting, and digital media to explore migration, womanhood, and identity. Shaped by growing up in China and later relocating to New York, her practice turns in-betweenness into a space of tension, play, and reconstruction. Through material experimentation, subconscious fragments of memory, emotion, and experience begin to surface, shift, and take form. She deconstructs bodily forms, architectural fragments, calligraphy, interiors, and fashion into layered works that feel intimate, uncanny, and unstable. Her work creates conceptual portals where personal memory and collective experience overlap, tracing resilience, vulnerability, and transformation.
