Noa Klagsbald is an interdisciplinary artist working across photography, sculpture, video, and installation. Her practice examines power dynamics and gender roles through large-scale staged productions, often situated within culturally charged arenas such as sport. Drawing from art historical iconography and contemporary visual culture, she constructs carefully composed scenes that approach the human figure with a sculptural sensibility, creating tension between performance and documentation. Collaboration is central to her work, involving performative processes with groups of men that explore how masculinity is rehearsed and embodied within collective environments. Her projects often expand into immersive, site-responsive installations that transform familiar spaces and reveal underlying structures of power and social behaviour.
