Bradley Marshall (he/him) employs sculpture, photography, and installation strategies to investigate shifting materials states and emotional resonance located in specific images, videos, and objects. Through various modes of research, fabrication, and installation strategies, he works to collapse languages ranging from the virtual, spaital, emotional, and psychological into new contingencies. His studio practice attempts to unpack these dynamics in a manner that can underline the personal as political, that design and formal value are products of power, and that things and materials hold agency and affect us in powerful ways.

Bradley Marshall is an artist, writer, and educator from Nashville, Tennessee. He attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture after receiving a Masters in Studio Art from East Tennessee State University in 2018. Recent group exhibitions include Profound Movement, at Houston Center of Photography, Houston, Texas, and Teachable Moment at Stoveworks, Chattanooga, TN. A two-person exhibition at Atlanta Contemporary, Atlanta, GA is forthcoming Fall of 2021. He is co-editor of Number Inc. Magazine, a quarterly publication for fine arts writing in the American south.
