Through her active participation in and representation of both online and physical exchanges, Bonnie considers her current practice as an anthropological study into human sexuality.
Engaging in modes of humor and entertainment her practice unapologetically presents an accumulation of private stories told to a public audience, provoking a dialogue that stimulates questions of consent, shame, morality, power dynamics, fiction, and autobiography.
Materializing in an fluid practice that spans video, photography, installation, sculpture, sound, collage, short stories, and virtual, IRL, and secret performance, the works question prescribed gender roles by exposing private experiences that are coded with subtle indicators to ask the audience “who is watching whom?”
