Artist Statement/ Biography
So-hyun Han delves into anxiety. She tries to look at the alienated or hidden ulterior values in the relationship between everyday life and social reality, and between the private domain and the public domain, and record them in various ways. Essentially all artworks can be said to be continuously thinking about ‘how to live'.
---So-hyun Han (b.1988) lives and works in Seoul, South Korea. She graduated from Ewha Womans University with bachelors and masters degrees in Sculpture. She has exhibited at Gimpo City Hall, Danwon Art Museum, Ewha Art Center, Sungbuk Art Center, Gwanhoon Gallery, Gallery Button, Gallery 3, Space CUM, among others.
