NARS Foundation is pleased to present
Somewhere down the line,
there's a fine line
between a deadline
and the bottom line
,
an exhibition featuring the works of our
Season III Artists-in-Residence.

While all of their approaches and practices are undoubtedly distinct, the concept of the line both underlies and underlines all of the exhibited works, directly or indirectly. As one of the most fundamental elements of design, the line, whether abstract or tangible, dictates movement, whether aligned or cacophonous, and attempts to bind us to a progressive conception of time. It influences and shapes geographic territories, outlines the parameters
of a body,
of an identity,
and its very essence is questioned
when we feel as though

we have crossed it.
