Shadow Puppet Theater
Family Workshop
Saturday, March 27th, 2-4 pm
NARS is pleased to have artist Shasha Dothan, to lead the Shadow Puppet Theater Family Workshop on Saturday, March 27th, 2-4 pm. The workshop will take place online and all participants will need to register in advance.
For this workshop we will build our own shadow puppet theater. We will start by learning about artists that worked with shadows, and we will talk about light and how we create shadows. We will start building our own special puppet theater and experiment with different light options. After we create the theater and play with light the families are invited to write or improvise stories for their theater.
Required material:
a box of any type
parchment paper
glue stick
wood skewers
black paper.
If you’re located near Sunset Park, Brooklyn, you can come pick up the materials for your workshop.

Teatro de marionetas y sombras
Taller familiar
Sábado, 27 de marzo, 2-4 p.m.
NARS se complace en tener a la artista Shasha Dothan, para dirigir el Taller familiar "Teatro de marionetas y sombras" el sábado 27 de marzo de 2 a 4 pm. El taller se llevará a cabo en línea y todos los participantes deberán registrarse con anticipación.
Para este taller construiremos nuestro propio teatro de marionetas de sombras. Empezaremos aprendiendo sobre artistas que trabajaron con sombras, y hablaremos sobre la luz y cómo creamos sombras. Comenzaremos a construir nuestro propio teatro de marionetas y experimentaremos con diferentes opciones de luz. Después de crear el teatro y jugar con la luz, invitaremos a las familias a escribir o improvisar historias para su teatro.

皮影戏－家庭工作坊

NARS基金会很荣幸邀请艺术家莎莎.多森（Shasha Dothan）于3月27（星期六），下午两点到四点，主持线上皮影戏工作坊。欲参加的民众需要事先报名。
这个工作坊我们将会创作自己的皮影戏，我们会分享以皮影戏为创作媒材的艺术家，我们也会讨论关于光以及如何创造出影子。我们将会建造属于自己的皮影戏并且尝试多样的光源。在创作出自己的皮影戏盒子并且尝试灯光之后，我们会邀请每个家庭写下或是即兴创作出属于自己的戏剧故事。
该工作坊限十组家庭参加。
