Moving Monuments

NARS Free Family Workshop

June 2nd, 2 - 4pm

NARS is pleased to have NARS Artist-in-Residence, Maya Kaminishi Jeffereis, to lead the Moving Monuments workshop on Saturday, June 2, 2-4 pm.

Moving Monuments is a mindfulness and movement workshop that explores the idea of monuments. What is a monument? Who are monuments for? Whose stories do they tell? In this workshop, we will playfully create our own monuments to the heroes in our lives, using our bodies, gestures, movement, voices, and each other. Please dress in clothing and footwear you feel comfortable moving around in and come prepared to have fun!

For children ages 6-12 years old Limited to 20 participants

The workshop will take place 2-4 pm at NARS Foundation
(201 46th St 4th floor).

To RSVP or for any questions about the workshop, please contacteducation@narsfoundation.org or 718-768-2765.

We look forward to seeing you at NARS!
