Asian Pacific-American Heritage Month Town Hall

Tuesday, May 1, 6:00-8:00pm
NARS Foundation, Parlor Room 88 35th Street 3rd Floor

Join NARS Foundation and Asian American Arts Alliance for a special Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Town Hall in Sunset Park, Brooklyn! Sunset Park is one of New York's largest Asian and Asian American communities. Help us make this a memorable Town Hall by sharing your art, your thoughts, and your food. And just showing up is good, too.

We will be voting on the best dish at the potluck. The winner gets a Locating the Sacred mug and tote bag, as well as a feature in the next e-news! Let us know what you are planning on bringing here.

What is Town Hall?

At this monthly meeting, artists and arts organizations come together to give 1-minute pitches about upcoming projects and opportunities. Pitches can be anything from a concert invitation to a call for grant applications. Artists are also invited to perform 4-minute excerpts of their work. After an hour of pitching and performing, there's a potluck--a great time to mingle, network, and of course eat! All are welcome.
